Gilbert Nouno: Scoring and Performing Music Electronics

In his lecture and workshop on composition with electronics, French composer and sound artist Gilbert Nouno will discuss scoring and performing music electronics. The emphasis will be put on musical and creative rather than technical matters. Sonic interaction thinking and insight, but not programming, will be the main topic. Relations between composition, electronics and performance will be explored in workshop sessions from the creative points of view of composers and performers.


Composers and artists participants are encouraged to submit music works and intentions for a small project including ideas on electronics in performance and scoring by 9 July 2014 (please e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots. Musicians interested in discovering new paths in performance are also encouraged to submit their wishes and concerns about interpretation issues with interactive technologies. Important time will be dedicated to experimentation, practice and research to write and perform music electronics with proposed interactive technologies.
