International Summer Course for New Music 2018

Save the date for the Darmstadt Summer Course 2018! From 14 to 28 July 2018, we’ll be offering an intense program of concerts, courses, workshops, lectures, discussions, think tanks and ateliers with around 60 tutors and many guests. More than 350 participants from around 50 nations are expected in Darmstadt. From now on we will report regularly on projects and new formats, calls, the tutors, the concert and performance program and on practical questions like how to get here or how to find an accomodation.

Booking and registration for participation will be possible on this website from January to April 2018. There is a maximum capacity for each course. Particularly for composition it is advisable to book as early as possible. The registration will be effected through on-line booking and payment by credit card.

There will be application procedures for certain workshops and courses (e. g. percussion, piano, saxophone, voice). For this, we’ll start launching several calls within the next weeks already. Please visit our website regularly, follow us on Facebook or subscribe for the 2018 e-mail newsletter which will inform about calls and application deadlines:
